A Study on Renewal of Public Housing

Case Study on Public Houses in Aichi Prefecture

Abstract

Recently, renewal of public housing become more important in public housing policy. In Aichi prefecture, many old wooden public houses have been rebuilt, but many households are still under minimum housing standard. Therefore, it is necessary to renewal the low housing standard houses which were mostly built before 1970, and many of them were constructed by concrete block. In this paper, I study on public houses owned by Aichi prefecture, and try to propose the strategy on renewal of public housing.
