A Study on the Change of Composition of Residents the Increase of Welfare Recipients in Public Housing Stock

Abstract

In recent years, low income people and welfare recipient households are increasing in public housing. The aim of this study is to examine the change of composition of residents in public housing stock from the viewpoint of concentration of welfare problems. In doing so, we set out the questionnaire on 301 residents and 196 welfare recipient households in public housing in Hirano-ku Osaka City, where many public housing estates are located.
