A Study on the Greening Policy of the Municipal Corporations in the Kanto District

Abstract

The status quo of the greening policy of the municipal corporations in the Kanto district is investigated by questionnaires, and the following results are obtained: Many municipalities consolidate the system for promoting land-scape planting. There is every indication that the value of excuted greening policy under the initiative of inhabitants decreases. 7 significant factors are abstracted by factor analysis; “events and entertainments for improving greening”, ”easy greening”, ”green of municipality”, “administrative organization for greening” etc. And some structural results are obtained.
