Abstract

THE EXISTANCE OF THE U.S. BASE AREAS PREVENTS SMOOTH CONSTRUCTION OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE IN OKINAWA. OTHERWISE, THE BASE AREAS IN ( OR NEAR ) THE CITY ARE RETURNED EVRY YEAR. THESE AREAS ARE GOING TO AFFECT LAND USE OF THE CITY AFTER THIS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO FIND THE PROBLEMS OF PLANNING OF THE LAND USE BY COMPARING THE PRESENT CONDITION OF LAND USE TO THE PLANNING OF DIVERSION IN THE U.S. BASE AREAS AFTER REVERSION TO OKINAWA.
