Abstract
THE PERPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS EXAMINED THE USEFULNESS OF "MACHI NO NAZOTOKI BOOK" AS A LEARNING MATERIAL OF COMMUNITY DESIGN FOR CHILD. THE BOOK IS FEW CASE, IN THE WAY OF EDITING BY RESIDENTS IN ISHIUCHI, THE THEME IS THE REGIONAL TRADITIONAL LIVING CULTURE, PUBLISHING -FOR HOME BOOK WHICH MEANS UNEXPECTED TO USE AT SCHOOL, ETC.. AS A RESULT, IT HAS BEEN UNDERSTOOD THAT THE CHILD HAS EXPANDED THEIR RECOGNITION TOWARD LIVING ENVIRONMENT DEEPLY AND WIDELY, THROUGH THE BOOK. ALSO, NEW LEARNING ACTIVITIES HAVE OCCURRED AT COMMUNITY, AT HOME, EVEN AT SCHOOL, WITH THE BOOK AS A SRTART.
