Abstract
We have analyzed about the condition of adjustment in common space for the area in the cities of Sapporo and Asahikawa in Hokkaido which have been pointed in pedestrian spaces empty, and the probability of the production about the pedestrian space network for continuation of some common spaces were studied According to the analysis, the four contents of the pedestrian space network described above, it is clear that each planning makes characteristic pedestrian spaces on this condition that grid cities various foundations. Further more, the continuation of some common spaces based on adjustment of public spaces would contribute for various pedestrian spaces.
