Abstract
The purpose of this research is to clear on relationships between urban renewal, housing supply and housing relocation, which are supplied by private sector, in the densely crowded area with wooden buildings. Findings are as follows: 1) Housing rebuilding is not linked to infrastructure improvement and does not help to improve densely crowded area because local developers supply small housings in the vacant lot. 2) More than half of the residents who relocated within the area relocated within town limits. 3) There are eight types of relationship between family life cycle and housing types they lived and choose. 4) In spite of the same types of housing, each purpose of relocation is different and it depends on family life cycle.
