Abstract
This is a study how technique plan for urban space formation should be established. For that purpose, we focused on the below spaces and analyzed them in terms of such as the location, character, history and establishment. Semba, Osaka has the Public Spaces constituted of private premises that potentialize urban space more attractive. The details of the spaces, however, are not known yet. The investigation revealed that the spaces are 55 places (increased 13 places for recent eleven years) and have varied shapes. Most use is only for walk but some is mixed use including walk. Each space in city has unique character. Therefore it's not good dealing with uniformity. We should make urban space more considered its unique character.
