Abstract
In this study aim to clalify the characteristics of the riverscape on Nakatsu River in order to gain knowledge that may contribute to the landscape maintenance and methods of how to conserve the riverscape in the central urban area ,through an analysis of the photographs that were taken around the Nakatsu River under the theme of"favorite landscape in Nakatsu river." We consider two aspects in this study:First,we define the characteristics of the river scape by seeing a mainsuject,a view point and a composition of each photograph;Second,We suggest a necessary guideline to conserve the riverscape of Nakatsu River which was analyzed with the photographs.
