The Municipality Investments and Supports for Co-operative Land Readjustment Projects

Abstract

LR Project is the most important method of the urban development in Japan and 55% of all LR projects is Co-operative type LR, which means the LR projects implemented by land owners. However, Co-operative LR projects are often supported by Public sectors, especially by Municipalities. This study aims to analyze the actual situation of Municipality Investments and Supports for Co-operative LR projects. As a result, we indicate the characteristic of the requirement by Municipalities and the subjects to be solved.
