Abstract
Development of hydrogen infrastructure will become an important issue at an early, introductory, stage of fuel cell vehicle (FCV). As a measure to speed up formation of this infrastructure, e an effective energy system is considered in which a hydrogen refueling station that supplies hydrogen to FCVs also supplies hydrogen energy to neighboring commercial establishments, specifically stationary fuel cell. The objective of this paper is to clarify the effect of the hydrogen joint supplying for both FCV and commercial establishment compared with a system supplying hydrogen only to FCV. The operation methods of stationary fuel cell and the hydrogen production process were numerically studied by using the seasonal demand data for electric power, heat and vehicle fuel. As a result, the amount of primary energy consumption of the hydrogen joint supplying system was smaller because of the higher operation rate and efficiency of hydrogen production in the hydrogen refueling station.
