Abstract
This article aims at providing useful informations from experience of inquiry council on townscape of city planning road in Takahata town. The results of changed designs are summed up into the table in which being changed are roof form, amenity of front yard, windows and openness of the facade. The process of two large sites are investigated. Finally those results are analyzed and some useful suggestions are obtained. Those are importance of a keyword expressing atmosphere of the townscape, of workshop about townscape simulation at the starting period, of holding the council just after an architect is decided, and of the respect of architect's opinion superior to the client.
