Abstract
This study aims at considering directionality and issues of the evaluation of the public transport that used residential survey. Firstly, in residential survey that has been carried out in major cities of Aichi, we clarify the purpose, method for investigation and investigation items on the public transport. Secondly, we clarify evaluation structure of the public transport from resident consciousness by using a result of the residential survey carried out in Toyota city. Finally, we inspect the validity of the evaluation by confirming relevance between the satisfaction of living environments or measures on public transport and the real public transport service.
