Abstract
This paper analyzed the following landscape characters of Tokyo Tower; 1)the review of the historic values of the land no.20 of Shiba Park founded in 1873, 2)analyses of the history and the public interests of view point, 3)landscape characters to Mt. Fuji, and 4)the assessment of the historic view. Principal conclusions are the followings; 1)the land is higher point of the original Shiba Park and there was the guest house of Koyokan, 2)the registration for the national cultural property made the public interest, 3)the characters are the longest view of 97.3km in the world and the angle of 1.76°, and 4)the results are the respective heights for the view protection between the four cities in Tokyo.
