Abstract
Recently, management of public facilities becomes the large problem in many local governments. The purpose of this study is to understand the management of public facilities through the recognition of the local government staff in Tokyo Metropolitan and 3 Prefectures of Kanto. The method of this study is questionnaire survey among the each local government staff. Our analysis focuses on the present and future conditions of public facilities, relations with the population movement and "policy expenses" for financial index of local government. In the result, the present and future conditions of the management of public facilities differ according to 15 public facilities and population movement for the future. The management situation of public facilities has effect on the "policy expenses rate" of financial situation.
