A Study on relationship between the mixed land use pattern and the evaluation of coexistence in the residential-industrial mixed use area

The case of the 5 areas in the around of Osaka City

Abstract

This Study clarified the relationship between the mixed land use pattern and the questionnaire survey on the residents awareness the community evaluation. we compare and analyzed 5 areas around the Osaka city. For the factory pollutions, the 3 points is effective, the gradual zoning of the housing-block and the factory-block, the gradual zoning of block-scale, the small community for the neighborhood relationship between housing and factory. The evaluation of the factory being in the area is related to the building size in the block. Each block must be formed of buildings of the same size regardless of use.
