Abstract
It is getting more difficult to maintain facilities and public transportation. Hence, Compact plus network policy is promoted with local public transport network plans and facility location plans. The policy suggests collaboration between a public transport plan and a city plan to realize an efficient city structure. In this study, based on a case of Arao city, construct a trip frequency model including composition factor of ICF and a mode-choice model with facility locations as variables. Using these models, predict each bus route demand. And suggests a local public transport network planning method including compact plus network policy.
