This paper investigates the frequency of teleworking through the analysis on the results of questionnaire survey on daily life behaviors of workers in Japan conducted during both terms; during the first state of emergency due to COVID-19 and after the lift of the emergency state in July 2020. It examines the relationship between the teleworking frequency of the employed workers’ and their own attributes and residential conditions. As results, it specifies the kinds of workers’ attributes, which is deeply relative to telework frequency, and clarifies the difference of teleworking frequency by target municipalities. It concludes by pointing out the positive and negative factors deeply relative to teleworking frequency.
