Abstract
A qestionnaire survey indicates that citizens favour and often visit to various types of visible or perceptible scale of well-managed urban environmental spots and civic service facili ties mobilized by civil engineering projects in Hyogo, Nagata, Suma and Tarumi districts of Kohe City. Karasuhara reservoir construction, diversion of Minato-gawa stream and construction of Minatogawa park have not only produced convenient and healthy human-settlement, but also prepared the potentiality of adding amenity services to basic functional services derived from engineering project implementation.
