A Study on the utilization of Public Involvement method for the Road Planning

Abstract

Public involvement is the method that investigates the opinion and intention widely about making the plan, and shares the process of decision. However, there is little concrete guide and research about the road planning by the PI method. In this Paper, extracting the whole country case of the road planning that utilized the PI method, I compare it. Also, the road planning in the national highway number 8 Kaga road as the case survey is analyzed. This research is summarized about the subject and the item that should pay attention, of the PI method from these 2 surveys.
