This paper aims to propose a payment mode choice model of urban railway users. This model covers a travelcard, a coupon ticket and an ordinary ticket We assume that the travelers consider the attribute of payment modes, such as the valid time of coupon ticket, and the expected route choice when they travel as well. Therefore, the model has the two-step staucture: payment mode choice and route choice, which is formulated as the nested logit model. We estimate the parameters and conducted the sensitivity analysis.
