Characteristics of the Vehicle Action for the Estimation of the Car Gas Emissionin the Intersection

Abstract

Recently, the air environmental problem caused by the vehicles becomes more serious. It is therefore, necessary to perform an environmental measure in the Hot Spot. When exhaust gas is estimated from travel speed, acceleration as one of thefactors that cannot be taken into consideration. In this study, the authors obtained the speed and acceleration (car action) using video photography. Based on this, the exhaust gas was observed and estimated. We calculated the input data (parameters) into the traffic simulation model. To evaluate the future policy, traffic simulation model is therefore, recommended.
