Abstract

We investigated the long-term effect of TFPs and the way to make a TFP more effective in long-tarm by analysing data obtained in the additional survey one year later after the personalized communication in mobility management implemented inKawanishi City and Inagawa Town in 2003. The data indicated that the TFT induced about 10% reduction of travel time by car and about 9% increase of frequency of public transport use in one year later. It was also indicated that a simple TFP could continueto change behaviour of people who had intention to change their behaviour and used public transport, and that travel behaviour of those who had intention but did not use public transport could be changed by a TFP with afterward feedbackin long-term. Furthermore, it was also indicated that psychological factors of those who didn't have intention could be improved by a simple TFP.
