A study on measures for the harmonization of construction of the Tsukuba-Express Line and urban planning

Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the harmonization of construction of the Tukuba-Express Line and urban planning by examining documents and questionnaires. As the result, it was cleared that overcoming three problems in the field of schedule, falling in land price, agreement of the persons concerned, rail sector and urban planning contributed to the good result.
The factors of successful harmonization of construction of the line would be a good case study in future.
