A Study on Loading Space Measure in the City Center Utilizing Pocket Loading System and Priority Parking Meters for Trucks

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the parking characteristic of the loading trucks and users' consciousness-behavior for loading-space measure in the city center and to clarify the planning and management of truck loading and unloading facilities. Based on demonstrative experiment data, it is cleared the factor affecting parking behaviors whether loading truck drivers park their cars in the road or not. And the result of analysis of structural equation model, it is quantified the relationship between users' satisfaction of PM system and loading and un-loading activities, and the effectiveness of the system is also shown.
