Cracks have been recognized to be one of serious problems for tunnel maintenance. Development of convenient methods is requested to detect cracks on the concrete lining, precisely in early stages.
We employed electric conductible paint as a sensor for detecting cracks on the tunnel concretelining. We have made some experiments with the concrete samples to study. The paper describes concept of detection with the paint and results of the various tests.
