Abstract
In this paper, the practices performed three times in 2018 to 2019 are reported. Specifically, in order to verify whether using a device that can adjust the playback speed of CDs improved high school students’ English comprehension, tests that measured the students' English comprehension were performed after the students listened to English texts in some junior high school textbooks and reading them aloud. As a result, this study was able to clarify that playback speed of English texts had an effect on the students’ ability of English-listening and English-reading.
