Vapor pressures of vinyl chloride monomer above normal boiling point have only been reported by Rozlovskaya and Temkin for the temperature ranges of 10∼70°C. The authors observed the vapor pressure of this compound up to 143.1°C using two different types of apparatus.
Differences of two data between our data and reported values grew large as temperature increased. Comparing with literature values in low pressure regions, our results seemed to be more consistently reliable than that of Rozlovskaya and Temkin. Finally, the experimental results were tabulated in smoothed forms and the three constants of Antoine equation were determined.
