12年間の高等学校における精神保健活動の分析

―連携と個別支援の視点から―

　This is a report about the measures of students with mental health problems in high school over a period of 12 years from the 1997 school year to the 2008 school year at B Senior High School in A prefecture.

　We analyzed the organization's activity of the school staff and the effect of individual support given by child and adolescent psychiatrist and yogo teacher who is assumed to be primarily responsible for student wellbeing.

　166 cases of counseling, 12 cases of consultations with a homeroom teacher, 14 cases of meetings with parents and 17 cases of early stage intervention by the school doctor were diagnosed as the criteria of the ICD―10.

　The results and analysis were as follows.

①The main complaint of students who visited the doctor was feeling physically sick. And most students visited the doctor spontaneously. 50.0% of cases were classified under the F4. Those reflect the typical adolescent mind to search for self-identity.

②Only 2.8% of cases were classified under the F3 over 12years.

③Consultations with a homeroom teacher and meetings with parents were important in those cases where students were diagnosed with more serious conditions, such as schizophrenia. Critical students were secured by cooperation of the school doctor, the yogo teacher, the homeroom teacher, and parents.
