STUDIES ON TRICHOMONAS VAGINALIS IN UROLOGICAL FIELD

Abstract

1) Cultures of first morning urine on 102 cases from patients in a mental sanatrium and on 191 cases from criminals in a jail were carried out and 8 cases were positive of trichomonas vaginalis in the latter group.
2) From the 8 positive cases of trichomonas vaginalis, the periods of trichomonas infection was suspected as maximum of 664 days and as minimum of 25 days.
3) It is conceivable that such a long period of trichomonas infection in male urogenitalia plays an important role in the evaluation of analysis on its mode of infection as a type of venereal disease.
