The velocity distribution and transport properties of model gases in thermal equilibrium at 300, K with mass of He having three cross sections proportional to the power of relative speed as vr0, vr-1/2 and vr-1 are calculated by using the flight time integral (FTI) method. Gas particles of all the cross sections are settled in a Maxwell distribution with a mean energy of 3kTg/2e, eV, but some of transport properties, mean colliding energies, reaction rates take different values due to relative velocity dependent cross sections even reduced to a common mean collision frequency. The fact that the gas can have different transport properties and reaction rates in the same temperature and collision frequency is noticeable.
