The metal-insulator transition of La₃Ni₂O_7-δwith 2-dimensional electrons has been studied. Various physicalproperties can be understood by introducing a model of chargeorderings in the NiO₂ planes induced by oxygen orderings. Argumentson the non-occurrence of the superconductivity are also given.
