Thermodynamic properties of the three dimensional six-state clock model are investigated. From temperature dependences of the specific heat and the spontaneous magnetization, the discreteness of the model seems irrelevant at high temperature region of the ordered phase, while it is definitely relevant at low temperature region.Studying the size dependence of distributions of the magnetization, however, it turns out that the discreteness is always relevant in the ordered state. The critical exponents of the model are also investigated and it is confirmed that the model belongs to the universality class of the three dimensional XY model.
