The equilibration process ofthe Sherrington--Kirkpatrick spin-glass model is investigated using the exchange Monte Carlo (MC) method. It is found that a MC time scale for equilibration, τeq, is nearly proportional to the system size and weakly depends on temperature, in contrast to the thermal activation behavior observed in a conventional MC simulation. Fluctuation of the overlap distribution over samples isconfirmed to follow the non trivial probability law predicted by thereplica-symmetry-breaking theory.
