A new graphical solution applicable to linear differential equations of second order was presented. This method is simpler in construction but is of higher accuracy than the older methods. Two examples were given and it was shown that the error is very small in practice. The derivative dy/dx, as well as the solution y(x) itself, is obtained simultaneously. Accordingly, this method can be conveniently applied to classical vibration problems, quantum-mechanical collision problems, eigenvalue problems in one dimension, and so forth.
