The deformation of the lattice around F and V1 (the Seitz’ model) centers in alkali halides is determined from the experimental data on the difference between two ionization energies (optical and thermal) of these centers. In the process of the determination, we apply the method which has been developed in the previous paper (J. Phys. Soc. Japan 13 (1958) 153). We find that the lattice deformation is rather small in the case of the F centers, but very large in the case of the V1 centers.
