Superconducting Tunneling Effects in the Mixed State of Nb

Abstract

Superconducting tunneling effects in the mixed states of Nb, whose H_c2(0)=4450 Oe, were observed using the usual oxidization technics. Results are rather well explained by the theory of Brandt et al with the assumption of diffuse boundary scattering, if we substitute Δ·Λ⁄h·v_f by Δ·Λ⁄h·v_f·α, where α is an arbitrary parameter.
