Nonlocal Pseudopotentials of Si and Ge

Abstract

On the basis of a new method, which leads to a simultaneous determination of a number of parameters in the empirical pseudopotentials, the nonlocal pseudopotentials of Si and Ge are investigated. It is discussed that the role of the nonlocal pseudopotentials is connected with a method of its determination.
