Direct observation of the critical slowing down has been made for the first time in the magnetic system by AC susceptibility measurement in Mn(CH3COO)2·4H2O. We have found a dip in the real part of the susceptibility along the easy axis just at TN, 3.18 K, in the frequency range from 180 MHz to 350 MHz.
