Abstract
The fastest growing Williams modes have been studied in the electrohydrodynamics of nematic MBBA under the microscope. The dependence of these modes on applied voltage has sharp crooks at every transition points. Six transitions are confirmed by counting these crooks from the static state to turbulence (DSM).
