The Landau-Zener-Stueckelberg formula based on the “dynamical” adiabatic representation is shown to be useful for the study of the title transitions. The following two cases are investigated: (a) curve crossing at the finite internuclear distance (R=Rx), (b) degeneracy at the united atom limit (R=0).
