Absence of Heat Capacity Anomaly at about 10 K in Fe₃O₄

Differential thermal analysis was applied to an Fe₃O₄ single crystal with and without magnetic field in order to detect the heat capacity anomaly at about 10 K. However, in this temperature range, we could not detect an apparent heat capacity anomaly. In comparison with the heat capacity measurement of ErCrO₃ at about 10 K, we have concluded that the energy change, if present, is less than 0.3 J for the formula unit.
