The energy and the frequency of a localized mode oscillation which is excited by a soliton are investigated in the Toda lattice. The oscillations of frequencies 2ω_c, 2.5ω_c and 3ω_c are enhanced, where ω_c denotes the cut-off frequency of the uniform lattice.
