The Knight shift, K, and the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time, T1, of 59Co have been measured in an exchange-enhanced Pauli paramagnet YCo2. 1⁄(T1T)d has been found to be proportional to χd, which is in good accord with the prediction from the self-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory of spin fluctuations in weakly or nearly ferromagnetic metals.
