The specific heat and isochoric pressure of bcc solid ³He have been measured from 2 to 60 mK at densities near the melting curve. The thermodynamic consistency was obtained between both measurements. The second order coefficient e₃ in the high temperature series expansion of the specific heat was determined with satisfactory precision. The results were analysed using the current four-spin exchange model.
