M-Shell X-Ray Emission Rates for Rare Earth Elements

X-ray emission rates for vacancies in various M subshells have been calculated for rare earth elements between Z=60 and 72. The relativistic Hartree-Fock-Slater atomic model with finite-size nucleus was used and all the calculations have been made relativistically. Contributions from all multipoles were included and the retardation effect was taken into account.
