Magnetization of Reentrant Spin Glass Pd_1−x−yFe_xMn_y: Low Temperature Behavior of Reentrant Spin Glass State

Low temperature behavior of a reentrant spin glass on Pd_1−x−yFe_xMn_y was studied by magnetization measurement. In the magnetization measurement for the higher field than about 2 kOe, the spontaneous magnetization σ_s begins increasing at the ferromagnetic transition temperature T_c with decreasing temperature and continues increasing smoothly even below the spin glass transition temperature T_g. In the lower field measurement, σ_s tends to become smaller. In the sample where T_g is relatively close to T_c(T_c⁄T_g\lesssim1.5), the ferromagnetic stateis destroyed at T_g, while, in the other sample with T_c⁄T_g\gtrsim2, the ferromagnetic state seems to remain without destruction to the lowest temperatures experimented (∼2 K).
