Electric Properties near the First Order Phase Transition Points of Rubidium Nitrate Crystal

The temperature and frequency dependence of AC conductivity along the c-axis of rubidium nitrate crystal has been measured in the range from 3 Hz to 100 kHz. The anomalous behavior in the AC conductivity near the successive first order phase transition points is found. Results are analyzed in terms of complex conductivity and discussed in relation to the structural change of the crystal.
