Diagrammatical method is applied to a quantity which is related with the interface free energy, for the Ising model on the two-dimensional lattice under zero external field. We obtain a simple method of evaluating the interface free energy and the critical temperature for the systems satisfying some ordinary symmetry properties. The present result justifies the method proposed by Müller-Hartmann and Zittartz in 1977, for some of the cases for which the present method gives the exact interface free energy.
