The purpose of this study is to clarify the rules for students planning their future. This study is based on a book written by a Japanese master swordsman who lived in the 17th century. And, this study is also based on old Chinese philosophy which some Japanese old master swordsmen refers to.
We have to base our future off our true feelings and the thinking that is based off our true feelings like described by the master swordsman. The master swordsman described his philosophy regarding our true feelings. He described our true feelings by using the words “original mind”. And, when we put up with the effort or hardship needed to learn our true feelings, our feelings grow stronger. Then we are capable of deciding our future and learning ourselves. When this is satisfied, we can live as human beings. We can cultivate our minds and develop a sense of humanity, when we do so. When we learn ourselves and our true feelings, we can have a sound mind. We can change the world to make it a better place to live. But, if we don’t learn our true feelings, there will be a lack of humanity, thus, creating a bad environment. When we run away from our effort or hardship, we develop poor judgment, and this poor judgment becomes a part of this world.
We can cultivate a sound mind, or we can have an unsound mind. So, we have the responsibility to cultivate our mind by learning from our true feelings. We have to base our way of living off our true feelings and our thinking that comes from our true feelings. This is the rule for us to decide our future.
